Donations instead of gifts

Instead of gifts and cards, this year we are supporting the Swiss Children’s Hospice Foundation. With our donation, we are supporting the establishment of the Flamingo children’s hospice in our local community of Fällanden.

The Flamingo children’s hospice takes in children and young people with life-limiting illnesses as well as their parents and siblings. This creates a missing link in the palliative care chain for affected families.

The holistic care and support, combined with the appropriate infrastructure, should enable those affected to take a break from their exhausting everyday lives. The focus is not only on the care of the sick child, but also on the needs of the parents and siblings. The Flamingo children’s hospice thus offers a unique stay for the whole family.
